As the 50th anniversary of the Summer of Love winds down San Francisco Bike Party would like to keep the party going into the night. We’ll be meeting just after Hardly Strictly Bluegrass ends for the night on Friday October 6th at the Conservatory of Flowers and taking you on a magical journey through some of San Francisco’s most beautiful sights.
This month we partnered with Illuminate, the non-profit organization responsible for some of the Bay Area’s coolest public art:
This route will showcase their installation at the Conservatory of Flowers and ends with an up close view of the Bay Bridge lights.
The route has about 300′ of elevation gain and some dark roads through the Presidio. So bring your lights and layers and prepare to illuminate the night with light and love in the way that only Bike Party can. Here are a few examples of illuminated bike rides:
Meet up at 7:30pm, roll out at 8pm! And don’t forget the pillars of SF Bike Party, HOW WE RIDE:
– Stay in the right lane
– Stop at red lights
– Leave no trace
– Ride predictably and in control
– Roll past conflict
– Ride prepared
– When in doubt, “bike party!!”
